About the manufacturer: The Mountain as a company grew from dress roots when two lifelong friends moved from new jersey to new hampshire and began creating belts and buckles to sell. The most popular product was a buckle of a mountain on the back that became the company’s calling card. When The Mountain incorporated and introduced its first t-shirt back in the early 90s. On that epic moment in history we made a very important decision to put the environment first by choosing water based inks and organic reactive dyes as the foundation of our production process. Since then, expanded and evolved into something that makes us pretty unique in our industry; and we are pretty proud of that.

I have in past purchased several of these. They use to have a high quality to them. In fact, I have shirt from this company from five years ago that are still going strong. That is no the case anymore. I have bought this one and another with a different image. Both shirts are not extremely thin and prone to ripping/holes.Due to a medical device and a bit of a tummy I order a baggier shirt. When I received this one instead of getting an extra large I got what felt like a large. It made clear the visible outline of diabetic unit. After wearing one time and washing it the shirt shrunk to the point of having to give it to my nephew who has also noticed additional shrinkage and image fading as well.Pros:The image is fantastic to look atThe colors pop outCons the shirt is very thinThe shirt runs VERY small and much smaller than previous customers have grown accustomed toThe shirt shrinksThe image starts to fade immediately and will not stand the test of time six months tops

The graphic is cool and spooky. You can’t go wrong with an authentic Mountain tee. After two washes it is the softest thing you can wear next to baby angora unicorn tail fluff. Another thing that I love about Mountain tees is that I have had some for ten years and they still look great. I buy them super big and wear them as tunics. It’s ironic that I buy them far more often from Amazon because the prices are better than from Mountain direct.

I order my normal size in this brand other brands a 3x or 4x but this brand I wear a 5x runs smaller. The gold Anubis shirt is definitely prettier than the red.

I was really disappointed at this t-shirt. Let’s start with the color; The t-shirt does not have the nice deep black color, instead is more of a washed-out gray. The figure of Anubis is also washed-out so it looses some of the nice details on the face and arms. Also, the figure of Anubis is quite small and it was supposed to be much larger.

I love this Anubis shirt. As with everything else I’ve purchased from The Mountain, it fits great and looks totally rad and the fabric is beefy. This one has more printing on it than most of their shirts, so the front does have a bit of a plasticy feel, but it’s not a big bother.
