About the manufacturer: The Mountain as a company grew from dress roots when two lifelong friends moved from new jersey to new hampshire and began creating belts and buckles to sell. The most popular product was a buckle of a mountain on the back that became the company’s calling card. When The Mountain incorporated and introduced its first t-shirt back in the early 90s. On that epic moment in history we made a very important decision to put the environment first by choosing water based inks and organic reactive dyes as the foundation of our production process. Since then, expanded and evolved into something that makes us pretty unique in our industry; and we are pretty proud of that.

These are great shirts, but I ordered a size too large, they run very large. You can go to The Mountain website and see their detailed size chart to find what size is best for you.*I reordered and got it in my size. It looks great, but is slightly thinner material than some other The Mountain to shirts I have. Seems they were using heavier shirts some years back. It’s fine though, since they run a tad large I can always wear another time shirt underneath, in fact, I just got a The Mountain long sleeve t shirt to wear under other short sleeve shirts of theirs in winter time.

The picture was absolutely gorgeous but I thought I was getting a YOUTH sized shirt which is what I normally wear, (Youth large) I received an ADULT size and I was swimming in it! It was comical. I am sending the shirt back and found it in a women’s smaller cut with the same picture.

The listing clearly states it’s “kids”. I ordered a small for my size 6 child who loves owls. He clearly can’t wear it since it’s an adult small. Very disappointed.
